Description
The perennial wallflower, Erysimum has the same lightly scented flowers, but with no need to replant ever year. They have an amazingly long flowering season from as early as February right through spring and summer and into autumn.
'Bowles Mauve' is a fabulous variety, with masses of flower spikes covered in deep purple buds that open into gorgeous mauvy purple flowers that will almost completely cover the evergreen foliage. They are excellent cut flowers, bringing their subtle fragrance into your home and lasting up to ten days in a vase.
These glorious plants are perfect for growing in beds, borders and pots and thrive in both full sunshine and partial shade, so everyone can grow these somewhere in their garden. They are a magnet for bees, butterflies and lots of other beneficial insects.
