Bred by world-renowned specialist Raymond Evision, this premium summer-flowering clematis is a unique and beautiful climber. It has velvet like petals in a deep violet-purple colour that matures into a bluer tone.
Clematis 'Amethyst Beauty' is easy to grow and even easier to maintain – as the stems simply need to be cut to just above ground level, it can be grown just about anywhere. Growing to almost 180cm, this variety of clematis is perfect for smaller gardens and even courtyards.
Blooming later than usual with large flowers, this climber will come into its own during midsummer all the way through to October. All it needs is some well-drained soil and it will grow effortlessly over trellis, up walls, or even in pots on your deck, patio or balcony where it will add height and interest.
Supplied as an established plant in a 7cm pot, ready to pot on or plant out when the weather warms.
